In 1.0 we had NM hunting achievements based on region. I want these back, though perhaps updated to be a NM bestiary or FATE log, rather than just the achievement.

There's literally no reason to challenge most of the lv. 1-45 FATEs that are in the game. This would be one reason at least.

Decent normal/height maps and diffuse textures on objects. I'd be happy.
The resolution on the current texture sets is painful.

As for something else I'd like to see returned, I've mentioned it before in the past, but I'd love to see the Path Companions return. I miss my sultry, bisexual, flirtatious miqo'te Path Companion Imarah who was always flirting with Enki.

I gave up on getting our path companions back, which sucks cause their story wasn't completed, they just left to handle some personal business and we never saw them again. So anyway, because Legacy weren't allowed to use the Collector's Edition codes in physical purchases of ARR, I ended up with an extra CE of FFXIVARR. So rather than letting it go to waste, I instead added another service account to my square enix account, named that character after my path companion from Legacy FFXIV and BAM, I have my Path Companion back and now she can even be used in battle (unlike our Legacy Path Companions which was more for the storyline than anything else, it gave the game a more FF feel cause they were the characters talking in the main storyline since in online FFs, our characters don't talk much unlike in offline FF games.)

Yeah I know it's not the same thing, but it's the closest we're gonna get cause the new team really hated the old team's ideas and I seriously doubt they'd bright back an idea from a team they were supposed to outdo.

Also, I think we picked the same personality with our Path Companions cause nearly everything she said ended with flirting or her talking about going to get it on with someone just to get them to talk or try to make you jealous or whatnot. Yeah I miss my slutty mithra pathy...

Ummm, yes there is a very good reason, for completions sake. That's usually a good enough reason for a FF fan to do something. Besides FATEs were overcrowded, now it's MUCH better. Mobs go down quicker since many are avoiding the FATEs and that means weaker mobs and less of them since that update, which translates to soloable and faster win. Another note, I love my title Notorious Monster Hunter which isn't receivable anymore, I don't want that title common so that's a vote for no from me.

And Notorious Monsters that aren't FATE only. (I know there are some NM-like mobs on the field, like the huge morbols outside of Haukke Manor, but still).

I'd like Adventuring Fellows too, Chocobo companions are cool and all, but I'd like a fellow like FFXI had =p (I think XIV 1.XX had a companion like it too, but I guess they died or the Garleans made some device that turned them into Chocobos for 2.0).
