soloing pesiti map

I have tried a few times and got my ass handed to me on a silver platter. so has anyone had any luck with this if so please give the info on how you did it.
what job, gear, companion etc.. thanks

It's meant for a group and not solo. And frankly, you will get more profit by forming a full 8 people group and doing 8 maps. You get 1.6k gil (5k on some runs) per map no matter how many people is in the group.

I tried soloing a Peisteskin map like on the first week treasure hunting came out on WHM, I didn't die but I timed out.

Alpha Basilisk and a few of the 3-waves-of-mobs should be doable with DPS or healer Chocobo out. The others - probably not.

hmm that's interesting as whm i tried it with my af1 lvl 50 gear no luck so i assume you had some af2 and dl gear &i70 weapon or better. and lyrinn you say the alpha basilisk

A friend and I did a couple peiste maps together. I was i73 WHM at the time, and he was i71 SMN. Together with pets and chocos out, plus another friend (lv41 BRD) adding a little more DPS, we barely managed to beat the Snurble boss with 5 seconds left on the clock (NM Stoneskin is bullsh*t). The second one we died to the Adamantoise. In both cases we were both derping pretty badly, but even so neither of us would've been able to pull off soloing either fight if we went in perfectly.

Alpha Basilisk because it's the only one that doesn't spawn adds on top of the boss. All the other Alphas spawn two waves of adds.

I was able to Solo it once as a Summoner. I had to replace my accessories with Stamina melded ones to get Titan's HP to 9.6k, after that though, it's really not too awful. Just keep your DoTs on the main target. Bane is your best friend in case of multiple enemies. Kiting a little bit helps too, but you really need to be pumping out as much dps as you can. It can be done with a bit of luck and maybe a chocobo just for good measure.

Best we did so far was 3 people (tank, healer, dd) and 3 chocobbos. But it was a tough race lol and only healer survived and was able to kill the last enemy. But with a group of four people (tank, heal, 2x dd) all enemies were already defeated including Chimera. There is no mass AOE spamming but we use mass sleep from BLM to keep the fight survivable. No clue if it is even possible to solo them, I seriously doubt it. I for once would not want to try haha.

No, it's not possible to solo. You might not be dying, but you will ran out of time.

Like @TomTom1968, also had tried 3-man + out chocobos, ran out of time too. lol
