For midlander Hyur please, Agrias' hair from tactics.

I know your post is a little old, however, I was able to semi glam Agrias with the small braided tail hair style for Highlander females. Here is my results.

I do recall that in the near future they will open up all beard/hair styles to all races. They wanted each race to retain their own characteristics in the beginning of the game. The exact time at which they'll open it up was not made clear, though.

There are many great suggestions, but for my reply, I'll advocate for haristyles within the franchise FF itself:

Tifa's hair from FF7-R:

"But it's too long for a FF14 hair!" - Not if they use the same length of the "Great Lengths" style

Terra's hair from FF6

Although we have a ponytail of the same length, what makes this style special and different is the texture of the hair

Edgar's long baroque ponytail, from ff6

We don't have any kind of long ponytail, again same length of the "Great Lengths" style

Barrett's buzzcut from FF7-R

Although I'm usually go for long hairstyles with my male characters, I feel that we are really deprived of this length and type, especially for females
