    Just curious about my laptop *-*

    Just wondering how good or bad my computer is. I tried looking it up online myself but well I don't understand pretty much anything said lol
    The game averages 20-25 fps (according to system config menu) by myself and 8-15 frames per second in crowded places or during fights. BUT...despite that frame rate the game runs just fine. I mean sure I load cutscenes slower and the first 2 seconds of a new area or loading into a crowded place has freezyness but it runs just fine 8D. When I'm not just plain failing I have no problems dodging AoE's, from normal mobs to HM primals. So idk if the 8fps - 15 fps thing is even accurate honestly. I'm on a laptop by the way which I already know is bad to play games on but it's all I have right now. Specs from the FF launcher below (tried finding out how to use the spoiler box option thing but couldn't get it to work >>; )

    while the 7600G graphics is not going to burn up the benchmark charts, it should still be a good cut above what many get on the Intel Graphics solutions. You may find you can get a little more out of it if you turn down or disable some of the eye-candy in the game (shadows, physics of others, glare points, etc). Go into the cards graphics setting and put everything either in a performance mode or Application /control setting also. If you don't mind a little lower resolution, you could notch it down a step too (like 1280/720 if supported)--but run full screen if you can, as running windowed mode seems to give a hit to frame rate for a lot of people as well. If you feel you have a good frame rate going, then you can go back and start adjusting things to increase quality again and try to strike a compromise you can deal with.

    Hardware-wise, about the only thing you may be able to do to improve it would be to find out the speed of your memory with something like gpu-z and see if you could replace it with faster memory. Your card uses a portion of the system memory for graphics (no dedicated graphics memory, so it's a bit of a bottleneck). May not be worth the investment there though, unless you are already considering putting more memory in it for other reasons. Your options may be limited somewhat in that arena though, depending how much memory your system will support.

    @Raist
    I already do have everything on the lowest settings and effects disabled. Everything but full physics on myself. I also, following guides anyways, set everything to performance on my graphics card (I hope xD). As for fullscreen vs windowed. Well It only improves my frame rate by like 2-3 so I just leave it windowed for the sake of easier multi tasking in skype.

    As for upgrading the laptops hardware I would have no clue on that and would not bother asking how to take a laptop apart lol
    I'd be afraid I would break it since I have never done such a thing and I heard it's very complicated @.@
    I was simply asking if I am pushing this laptop too much and if anyone has any advice for increasing frame rate settings wise.
    However I have not tried setting my display to 1280/720 and running fullscreen that way *-*
    So I did before posting this and it made my screen fuzzy and the frame rate stayed about that same. Seemed like it did a lil worse in those display settings lol

    Edit: Actually I double checked and in my original screen resolution (1366 x 768 which is the factory default) and with the game on 1280 x 720 windowed (which is what I have been running it at) works better than fullscreen on 1280 x 720 lol. I might have judged too fast when I first tried it on fullscreen >>; )

    If you are just looking to be able to play the laptop is good to go. Assuming you didn't swap the hdd out any laptop manufactured with a 500gd hdd will have extremely easy to change memory (pretty pictures on the bottom these days) might be worth a look. You are most likely running hot which will make your graphics card throttle back, might want to look into a cooling pad if you are not a tinkerer.

    @Lollie
    good news is I have a cooling pad 8D
    I have not swapped anything so I could look online but idk if I would risk taking everything apart lol
    Happy to hear I'm not pushing the laptop too much though. I use to have one even better long ago. It crashed after barely half a year and after some research I'm positive I pushed it too much and baked it's hardware >_>;;
    This one doesn't seem to run nearly as hot though thankfully. Prolly cuz of the cooling pad~
