I recently changed genders with the fantasia potion but found out my Bohemian set from the lightning event is unequiable.
I want to obtain the guardian corps version. Can't there be a way to restart the entire quest line?

Nope, They stated if you had already completed, you can't do it again :/
Sorry :/
(that's why I play multiple characters, so I can collect male/female gear)
Because lighting only strikes once
You're only changing your PC's appearance, not anything else, and as far as that PC slot is concerned, that PC has already completed that quest so it won't show up again. They warned this awhile back.
They never specifically warned about this. I remember there were plenty of people that wanted clarification due to the use of Fantasia and there were plenty of people that said "Don't worry, you'll get to do it again so stop bitching."
What SE needs to do is simply add some kind of 'exchange' service, where it flags if you've changed your character's gender via the Fantasia, and hence any now gender-locked gear that you possess which doesn't relate to your new gender you can simply exchange for the equivalent item of your new gender.
Of course it would take time to code into the game, but it would solve the issue that is catching so many people out.
I already put a thread up on this matter;
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ing-Edition%29
Their response was, IF I get enough support on the thread [IE likes + Views] then they'll do it, but until then, no.
