Error [2002] the lobby server connection has encountered an error

I was able to log in and play with no problems last night. I get through the launcher fine but can't get into the lobby to select my character. I've been trying to log on for about an hour and continue to receive this error. I'm able to get into other data centers to create other characters so I think there are problems server side...

I've checked my firewall, restarted my computer, checked msconfig settings, etc.

played this morning, got dc-ed few times, then the lobby error. Can't get to character selection screen now (error 2002) for the past hour or so. Tried everything (even manual port forwarding) but no success. Last 3 months everything was ok, this is the first time something like this happened (to me).
Same PC, did no changes to OS or install new software/hardware, and did not add any new device that would use the router (for the last week). Connection speed is 15MB/s ( around 2Mb/s) and it works fine when i try to download something/surf the net.

P.S. Played last night, everything was ok.

Having exact same problem. Cannot get to lobby to select character. Error 2002.

Three days can not go to the game because of this error. For what we pay money? For this kind of error? Return the money, and that seems to steal!

Was playing, suddenly lost server connection.
Trying to log in and all i get is "The lobby server connection has encountered an error." 2002.
I didnt have this issue last time i subbed, only latency issues. And i came back yesterday and now im starting to get this aswell
I did play all yesterday, i did get 4 dc's but i could allways log back on. Now im having a bit more trouble getting online, as in im not...

Same issue, initially got error 90002 and now error 2002 when I try connecting to data center.

Server: Excalibur.

I was not in an instanced event .. just killing stuff!

Hi, I just got kicked out of the server cerberus a few times today. It says Error 2002 lobby server connection has encountred an error or world is full or an other error when I got kicked out of the server. I hope it will be fixed soon.

just got same error 2002 on eu server shiva

Same issue here... DFW, TX and Fios ISP. As of Feb. 26th 2014, the Error 2002 still persists.
