This also works for us Ps3 users out there. Go to your network settings > select your connection type then choose custom settings > only change the MTU settings to 1300. It fixes the problem! Enjoy!
Logged on today with no third party programs or modified settings. Seems to be fixed!

Ok the MTU trick worked, however, if I wanted to reset it back to it's normal value for any reason, what value would that be?
default value is 1500
This did not work for my friend say his router won't fragment or something
In Denton TX, confirming that I can log in again with no third party support.
The packets are sent with a "dont fragment" flag set, which is ideal for minimum latency, but for that to work, the packets have to be sized correctly. The mtu setting on your system tells any connection it establishes what the max size should be. If you try to set your mtu higher than your router is set, you'll get that error.
Tried the MTU suggestion on PS4, did not work![]()
