You're a catgirl in real life?

While I do agree with John Gabriel's Greater Internet F(Online Disinhibition)wad Theory and think removing anonymity would cut down on trolls, I disagree for reasons I consider slightly more important.

My system would require the world to be run by some kind of cyber government, with a representative stationed outside every house and apartment, confirming that they are not trying to hide themselves from the world.
Again, this worries me.

Or perhaps vandalizing their house and car, killing their cat, and making continued death threats against them?

I'm not sure where you're from, how old you are, or what your sense of history is.

I'm assuming you've never lived in a police state.

Anonymity is important. I'm sick of trolls too and I think Anonymous has overstepped its bounds, but if that's the only problem you see with the world then you're living in an ivory tower.

Take away anonymity and you take away the ability for people to disagree with you. If your only way to cope with people who disagree with you is to punch them in the face or set up secret police to monitor everyone in their homes, there are words for that....

Good thing I can just link a mule to the forums.
