What I don't even...
I had no idea Doctor Who was forbidden around here.
That .gif is one I save for only the most special of occasions, as the little girls face and actions are just excellent. She really does encapsulate the feelings I have when someone is trolling, or using their anonymity as a weapon. If it was down to me, they would have an arctic lorry dropped on their house for being a douchebag.
On a serious note though, most european countries now have moderation of internet usage, and also require software to be installed on the accessing computer just to use their service providers. Within 10 years, we might be looking at retinal scanned logins with active online personas, and no option to hide yourself.
I will never understand why people respond with "but it's on the internet, I have a right to be anonymous" when in the real world, if you run into the whitehouse wearing a head to toe panda costume, begain tickling the president, and then dry humping the first lady, you gonna get messed up in half a second flat, no matter how much the costume conceals your identity.
The same should be true for the internet. You want to spam "U mad bro" and "trollfase.jpeg" at every chance you get, then you can also expect to be missing your front teeth in the near future.

Very true... unfortunately in this world there is no such thing as anonymous, because someone out there knows exactly who you are. Could be your friends, family, the cable company that give you your 'net. SE knows who we all are since we have to use the same info to get on here as we do lodestone. They have our name, address, phone number...That .gif is one I save for only the most special of occasions, as the little girls face and actions are just excellent. I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.

Move to North Korea. Suppression & conformity I'm sure you will enjoy it.That .gif is one I save for only the most special of occasions, as the little girls face and actions are just excellent. So the opposite of "We are currently being mildly moderated on the internet and such" is the oppressive ways of North Korea?
No. They have the right idea, but have taken it to far too much of an extreme. Their people in general are fine, but they have more internet crime etc than any other country in the world, so they need to remain in check. Same as chinese goldfarmers, the rest of their country are deeply shamed by their behaviours, and resent them as much as the rest of us do. It won't be long before we see the far eastern countries currently under very strict internet laws get removed from the online world altogether. They will eventually have their own internal country based internet, as the rest of the world is getting sick of them.
And I am not just talking about their gold farming, the rest of the world at large don't even know that happens, I am talking about credit card fraud, email scams, ebay scams, targetted pyramid schemes and bank account theft. Most of it originates in China.

I kinda see some of you guys points, but I am not the kind of person to just act like a complete a%%hole. But even in RL I am a very private person. I don't even like people knowing if I am sick or going to the dentist or if I am in an unpleasant mood. Its none of their business.
So I don't have a good idea for a compromise to keep people from not acting like a buch of a%%holes, yet still retain anonymity. I still do feel this is not the answer, not to mention the fact that I can bypass the issue (however annoying creating a second char was). Why not have the mods just step up their roles, decrease their tolerances, and start whipping out that ban-hammer like they were kraken club dark knights?
*Update: As much as I disagree with this whole concept, It's a non-issue as I have just created my new "fake" character. You'll all just have to wait until after the Maint. on the 28th for the big reveal!!!!!! 0.o
