Mor Dhona near 6,15 is a path that leads down to it, you can get agro from some high level Eye's on the path though so be careful and there is usually one inside the cave.

Yeah I think I have been pretty much everywhere there are some really cool things out there and I hope that they get around to putting some interaction with these things we find at some point. It gets a little disheartening when you find something only to realise it has no purpose yet in the world ; ;

The airship falls into Silvertear Lake, which is probably the lake in the distance in the forum banner. Silvertear Falls is just west of Mor Dhona and can't be accessed. Who knows if it ever will be or if that's even the waterfall in question.

Hmmm... Wasn't the area from the ffxi opening introduced in the CoP expansion? If SE does the same thing, then I think we can expect one of the expansions to unlock the area-- as it was a huge request to include the view from the FFXI intro in the game. I hope they plan to add it into the game eventually
