Get hit half a mile away. When on a voice chat with friends on the pc you need them to tell you were to move and your like what you talking about, and then got watch the video see were at from them, be like no I was not there on my screen. Since they see you were standing still on there screen and faster for them to tell you to move.

If got teen age memory then it is cool you can dodge before the moves or guess on them.

It is sad that your friends voice chat can tell you to move faster then the game. Since bye time you see the move on your screen it all ready half way went off.

It not the ISP speed http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3291813911 it only a comcast normal connection. Even tested for line noise came up clean. I am not going resort to trying to standby lag just to try see if it works good. Plus radio shack out those outdated type of things.

If you are using WiFi with the PS3, just don't, is really slow. Use an ethernet cable.

There is no mention of what content you are doing, I bring this up as the newer content updates a lot more frequently than the older content. One example is in titan ex there is a lot less of "I dodged that why did I still get hit" as compared to titan hm
A lot of this game is memorization but even more so anticipation. if i waited until you got hit to heal you, then you would be dead. Its about healing as dmg is going to be incoming and timing such so it looks like your HP doesnt move. It is not perfect but it has been getting better, as to why it was done this way and the mistakes behind it are for another topic and a longer conversation.

A speed test is testing data from your PC to the host of the speed test which is not hosted by or in the same data centers as Squenix so its not really a good test as any broadband connection should handle the data requirements of this game. If you have latency along the path to Squenix again a speed test will not catch or show this.

Get the IP address of your server (Google, I dont have a list handy sorry) and run something like WinMTR against it for a day and see if you have any packet loss etc. Note where the loss is and report it to your ISP so they can work with peering partners to make any adjustments if required. These things happen and are not always detected, sometimes its as easy as reporting the problem with data for the ISP so they can pinpoint the faulty hop along your path (Don't expect instantanious solutions to your problems it takes a little bit to make the routing changes, work with others, change management, etc. be persistent though if the problem does not get resolved for you).

I have no trouble dodging stuff on the PS3. Sometimes when my internet is hiccuping I'll get lag spikes though.

I'm on PS3 and don't have problems. If I had to guess I'd say it's your internet connection, not your system.

Recommendations.
1. Make sure Tv is on game setting. ( or what ever has lowest processing)
2. Static IP address your ps3.
3. Learn how to port forward your router. ( google search will show how)
4. Port forward your ps3 to SE servers. ( google search will find the port settings)

With above settings you should see an improvement in game performance
