Mail list and Friends List

Hello,

I am a leader of a Free Company on Balmung and I have a large list of people on my friends list just from adding people into the FC. The interface for the friends list is horrible and every time I add or delete someone the list has to completely re-update itself...

Can the team please make this more user friendly? This almost reminds me of 1.0 User interface design in many ways. (the bad parts). In fact I don't remember my friends list being this difficult to use in 1.0.

Another thing that is tied to this Friend list is the mailing function. If I have 200 people on my friends list it is a pain in the ass to go through that list without any sort of order(alphabetical etc.) We should be able to type in a name in the box and it should just give us the list back in real time (ideally).

Double for characters on the same account..... I can not friend My wife's character since she can not be on at the same time...... And since I can not friend her, I can not mail her neither.... Since I have a lvl 50 Miner, I can give her "free" harvested resources so she can craft.... kinda sucks since she plays less than me, and she has to go spend pointless gil on raw materials that I can give her while harvesting late night waiting for a queue as a dps....

What they need to do is allow the mailing list to include FC members as well, without having the need to add them to your friends. It's dumb already to have to add them to your friends list when you're already in an FC with those same people. Friends list should be for those who aren't in the same FC as you are. Furthermore, you should be allowed to mail stuff to your alts on the same account. And yes, I do agree with the point of the need to allow you to type in the name and let the auto-fill do the rest instead of searching down the list every time to mail something.

Having your list of potential mail recipients be shown in order of date friended, as well as with the absence of type/auto fill has resulted in me never sending anyone anything. I'd rather pay 500gil porting to the other side of the world for a trade than scroll through the recipient box.

I mean how many names does that box show? Like 4? They really need to up the size, down the font, or just do what every other game on the planet does. Type / auto fill.
