I may not like MNK, but I know they're not useless; after all, they can solo-silence the entire Turn 2 if they're good enough
A BRD that doesn't (need to) sing is more or less useless and the spot better filled by any other DPS, for example (except on Titan, though stacking BRD there is still unnecessary, since melee have it about as easy as BRD in those fights and do more damage).
Fixed it for you lol ^_^
Guess SE didn't know that one of the Ms in MMO, stands for "MASSIVE".
Awww.. it's cute when terribads think they're entitled to opinions. :3

OP, this kind of thread has been done for every job in the game at some point.... And it always comes down to the player him-/herself not doing it right....
Monks have the highest single target dps in the game if played right. They are useful in almost every encounter in the game... Their weakness is AoE, and therefore having several monks in one group can be hard in some encounters, but that's not the end of the world....
Learn how to play (watch a guide or something), or switch to an easier job.
Sorry for a bit of OOT, but...
what anime does your siggy come from? Looks hillarious! XD
And back to topic:
It is really wrong that MNK is weak. I saw with my own eyes how geared MNK can dish out nasty damage, mobs HP dropping as if their life got sucked out by dracula.
EDIT:
haha... 2 ppl now asking your siggy. You must tell! XD
