This is a pair of ongoing and related problems (I'll start by copying what I originally said elsewhere):

So I'm running this on my laptop right now (inb4 "there's your problem")

Specs:

Inspiron 17r SE (Inspiron 7720)
CPU i7-3610QM (3.3 GHz)
RAM 8192MB (2x4096) 1600MHz DDR3
Video Card 2GB Nvidia GeForce GT 650M 130W
1TB Serial ATA (5400RPM)
Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit

I keep getting what looks like a reduction in framrate (and a pretty severe one too - it almost looks like it's getting down to less than 10 fps) the weird thing is that this even happens at moments when the game says it's running at 50-60 fps.

Anyone have any idea what could be causing my bad framerate since apparently there's nothing wrong with my framerate?

Also this is what it shows when I look at my graphics card in the menu:

Don't know if that's normal...

For a while changing the resolution to 1600x900 and going from boardless windowed mode to fullscreen seemed to fix the issue, I was getting 60 in four-man dungeons and it looked like I was too but today I went through the Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak and my framerate was actually fluctuating wildly between 60 and 15 and then I'm getting this:

I shouldn't be getting that framerate in the airship landing, there's nothing there. And shouldn't there be a bigger difference between max in min graphics?

If I just couldn't run the game I'd be able to accept that but it keeps getting worse over time which is confusing.
