Ohh please just stop, Tegan came with a lot of strong arguments and as he/she said he/she couldn't care less about it but still support the idea for those who would like it.

He/she is totaly right when talking about selfishness, because it is. I never bothered with Ligthning Return events because I don't care, it doesn't mean that the FFXIII Fans shouldn't have their fun. It does not get in the way of my daily activity or anything.

What impact it would have on your personal gameplay or dailies activities? Zero impact at all, so again what was your "good reason?" to 100% a statement? Zero as well.

I love the cross gaming content...I don't think it hurts the game one bit and the events do not last long so it should not be that big a problem. If you do not like the events you do not have to do them.

Random fate events used as fan service is not a lack of creativity. Many mmos do this. Wow has diablo and space marine murloc pets for example. The only fan service that has been thrown into the main quest line is actually added in a very neat way. If you don't like it don't do it. I hate ffxiii but I don't care about all the fan service it's getting for those that do.

When it comes to FFX it be quite easy to involve that game, much like how Cloud of Darkness appears to be an entity of evil that transcends dimensions, they could of easily done the same for Sin.

An unknown force(sin) appears in Eorzea, bringing in the terror of the Bahamut threat x years ago. Tidus appears out of nowhere and alludes to parts of the game without giving away any spoilers.

Then it could easily end with Tidus fading out of existance with some comment like how his task is over and such and could end with recieving the pendant as a reward item aka the only thing to remain of Tidus in Eorzea's realm would be that silver necklace he has.

Heck they could be super creative, have all the allied beastmen out by then, Tidus explains how the pilgramage works and hopes that the same can be done in this realm, adventurer's are sent to gain the aim for the friendly beastmen who in turn help them obtain the aspect of the primal to help take down Sin, his pendant could then just be used as a catalyst that holds Anima and when all the primals essence are gains it unlocks Anima and we get a wicked CS between Sin and Anima lol.

Not like it needs to be 100% faithful to the X story but something that would be entertaining to go through in terms of a unique event.
