Gotta love that it'll just be part of a recipe come 2.2. It didn't show the weapons so i'll continue to get those. It'll more than likely be a recipe as well. May as well not kid myself. It's still a big slap to the face.

Have to wonder though, even IF the r30 gear will be useful down the line when frontlines may be released, the r30's will wreck havoc and we'll hear a bunch of QQ which will, again, discourage more ppl from doing pvp. Inb4 r30 nerf or complete disconnection to frontlines. What then would be the point of getting to r30 now?

I have not been grinding pvp because I like the pvp system. If I had confirmation the weapons would be a recipe in 2.2, I'd never do it again until I was told it'll be connected to frontlines.

I just picture in my mind someone saying "thanks, i really wanted that look those ppl that grinded to r30 had obtained."

True, we had worked so hard to have a unique skin and realize that everyone is going to get it with 2.2, it sucks

eh, honestly I welcome this, I just started grinding for my bard and sch rank 30 gear and im like.. "ah geez not this SH---- again" so if everyone gets to have it now so be it, hopefully they'll queue up, I assume you'll still have to do the XP grind to equip it.

If you take a closer look at the video, the WHM rank 30 gear for example does not exactly look the same, towards the bottom, this gear has black color on the indented swirl designs the WHM gear has at the sides / bottom...you can't get this effect on rank 30 gear.... maybe it's the new version of the vanaya type gear idk.

This is crafted with mythology tomes, I take it? It could be i80 (in between warwolf and direwolf), just slightly below the rank 30 equipment statistically. Maybe it will even be identical to i90. Either way, it is a necessary addition to level the playing field for all involved. The wolf–direwolf gap was staggering.

This is PVE gear. It looks like direwolf because it is also recycled dungeon gear.

Yes. More than likely it's the newest and highest tier crafting gear. My point is that, since that is the case, pvp become completely pointless if gear was indeed what you were trying to obtain since prior to 2.2, it was the only way to get this LOOK.

I welcome this too ^^ I know a lot of you have been PvP'ng since day 1 of 2.1...and worked hard for your gear. I personally just started PvP'ng a week ago.

The grind is hard joining so late, people tell you to queue 40's, but that bothers me. Those queue's tend to be even longer sometimes and I don't enjoy healing in 40's

If gear was a -little- more accessible to players joining in, they wouldn't get shoved out and scared away from PvP. The queues have been getting really long, and it makes me sad when experienced players curse away those that are new. The current crafted gear sets (i55) just don't cut it, so it'd be nice to see something more than that. Obviously would never want crafted gear to outshine rank 30 gear though.

Hmm at least make it not dyeable? So we can at least have less unique r30 in unique colors.
