Sometimes it just to much hassle to party with people.. even more so in this game when it takes a lot of time to get something going because everyone is so slow... At least 1 hour for party setup if you do not have a static group.

The price you pay when you play a game with real people, not all of them have the same agenda as you. I guess its what one player games are made for? People who don't want to play with other people? I think what they should do for all the Soloists is take the Diablo approach and make a 1 player version to play offline by yourself that way the people who dont mind playing with other people and enjoy the time it takes to play with them can continue doing so and dont have to worry about the solo content.

Challenge.
I agree. The OP is also trying to force people to choose between solo and party play (red option says you need a party, blue option says it can be solo'ed). Sense of accomplishment doesn't always equal party play. Steep leveling curves, rep grinds that take months, and epically long quest chains give me a sense of accomplishment when completed, but don't necessarily mean that I had to have a group to do it.By no means was I implying what you stated. Solo content can be tough and require strategies. Where did I say that only Group content is challenging?Content that you can not complete without cooperation of party members (where applicable.)
just wanna have fun with SOCIAL players. content is subjective, i vote for NOTHING too tedious

I didn't read it that way. +1 for challenging stuff.

EHHH MAJI!!!

Let me make this easier for people:
Hard Content ( that usually requires more than a few tries)~ People will stay on the game to keep trying to succeed at what they cannot beat.
Easy Content ( Usually can beat it on the first try)~ People will zoom right threw the Content then ragequit because there's nothing better to do because all the content that was easy is completed, and then Complain on the Forums (as always everyday and anyday 24/7)
Which one is better? :/
oh and if you add the Scaling feature it would be like this:
Hard~ People will keep trying and trying till they finally beat the Content they wanted to beat
Medium~ 50/50 on success but generally people win
Easy~ Nearly 100% chance you will win the Content
So in the end is Medium/easy actually worth it? Is Zipping through the Content and have nothing else to do fun?
That's what made FFXI "Entertaining" because it had challenge and depth, putting things on easy mode like they are now is only going to make FFXIV worse. Please understand that /endrant
