    Guild Orientated Raids? 24

    Would really love to see Guild Raids that are 24+ because its a shame when I see people in our FC who been here since the start to leave due to the game fault of not having 24+ to get better cohesion within the guild.

    In ZG we have 9 raid groups 3 killing Twintannia and rest turn 1-4 problem is some of people in our group have wife's or friends in different group but they can't play together because we have them as static.

    Again not our FC's fault, its the game design, I wish there were more guild oriented raids but sadly FFXIV seems to be in an endless spiral of forever waiting x months for new content.

    No flames please just discussion any other FC having same problem medium-large size fcs not smalls.

    well you got to consider how many FCs are even that active.

    My FC does plenty of endgame and has a endgame scheduale but we never get higher than 18 active people during endgame event days.

    There maybe some FC who can reach 24 or more active people in this game but certainly not the majority. Right now most endgame groups are formed through combining other FCs to fill any missing space.

    (PS update plan is about 2.5 months per major update. 2.1 was 1 month late due to the issuse we had in first month of release.)

    The lockout forces static grouping which is not the easiest of things for your average salaried player with an active social life.

    We need guild oriented raids either in the form of 24 member runs or non lockout 8 men raids. Unlocking T1 to T5 is the right thing to do, despite the unhappiness voiced by a few elitist minority. These are old content that has been denied to a large fraction of your player base who can't commit to fixed statics.

    I run a 13 member static comprising members who are like me... Busy with life but yet still hoping to try end game. We had good weeks where we could get 3 nights in a week to clearing coil or bad week where we can only muster one night. It's hard to get a time to suit down and practice because of this...

    We are working very hard outside the game to coordinate who gets what and how to ensure fair opportunity to every member. It's really more laborious than it looks.

    Yeah well it is the games fault for forcing medium-large communitys to segregate friends and family to 8man groups? because there is nothing tailored medium or large guilds if there was 24 man raids more players would be active I'd reckon because at the moment there is no Soul for being part of a large guild.

    But you also say your FC does plenty endgame guessing 2 x 8 man raid groups would you rather not have a 16man raid or 24 man raid so you can all play together since that is what a FC or Guild is for not just to keep 8man statics.

    In my FC Peak time we have 72 players online out of 168 and we run 9 raid groups 5 weekdays and 3 weekends to tailor them to members days they can play and are static. In theory we could have 2x 24man raid teams and everyone would of been happy to do that since they have the sense of playing together as a Guild not a dungeon group.

    We do also run non raiding events to get everyone together but what we want is to progress together as a Guild in a large group.

    I just want the Alliance function to work for CT outside of the duty finder already. I'm fine with the "harder" content being 8 man and the "casual" content being 24 man; I actually prefer it that way. But damnit, Unity's three raid groups and our plethora of social members really were looking forward to tackling CT as a whole team. Incredibly disappointing.

    Yeah that is what we would love to see but its stupid on how long the alliance system is taking it feels like they just hushed it up and buried it.

    I have to agree with this, you should be able to form alliances both inside and outside of Duty Finder and be able to que for CT as a pre-formed alliance.
