Heya!Even after UI lag fixes in previous updates, UI in FFXIV is still so much less intuitive and responsive compared to many other MMOs out there, and I believe this contributes significantly to the feelings of slow, boring, and sluggishness that people are experiencing when playing FFXIV.
A client-sided UI should be the utmost priority tweak for the UI, before anything else.
I know it will take a long time to do this, and that is exactly why you better start working on it now, SE.
I am also sure that the community will greatly value feedback from the development team on this matter.
Can you teach me?
What advantages will bring a Client-sided UI and what does it that a Server-sided UI doesn't? Just for knowledge, you know...

What Coldfire said. Server-side UI makes opening windows like inventory and synthesis window dependant on your connection to the server. If you end up with a high ping, your UI responses slow down.
Client Side UI means the speed your HD can load the window is how fast its going to respond.

tl;dr version:
Client Side = Actions are registered immediately and only need a server confirmation for certain aspects, e.g searching or lists display immediately if the server isn't struggling.
Server Side = Actions requires a confirmation from the server as well as an answer. Multiply this by the thousands of others needing said responses. It also produces pretty hefty latency problems and why the stamina and cooldown timers are out of whack.
And is one causes for the server stability problemim sure. probably the major cause.tl;dr version:
