    [Poll] Hard vs Easy (Yea, I went there)

    Looking at the recent poll of capped vs uncapped content, I find that quite a few people are contradicting what they were asking for only a few short months ago. I'm curious to see who really wants challenging content that can take multiple attempts to complete vs people who want easily and quickly completed content.

    Level caps aside, what is "good" content to YOU?

    Do you like to be challenged throughout the entire game making the rewards seem like something you earned.

    Or

    Do you like to quickly complete content as fast as possible and move on to the next thing?

    Keep in mind that having the option to choose is irrelevant for this poll as you will still choose your preferred play style if given a choice. Vote on the type of content that YOU would normally play.

    I cast my vote for challenging content.

    My apologies, But naturally I would think of hard content as being more time consuming than easy content simply because of increased risk of failure, thus needing repeated attempts for completion.

    Content that requires you to form strategies. Content that you can not complete without cooperation of party members (where applicable.) Content where success is often as good a reward as the loot that comes with it.

    Content that, while fun, does not require much stratgey. Content that can be solo'd even if designed for groups. Content where loot is often the main accomplishment when completed as designed.

    I vote for challenging as well. Not simply harder hitting enemies, but something well designed. When I play console games I usually put it on hard if it makes me think about what I need to do.

    EDIT: I can't really choose either of your options. Why would repetition have anything to do with hard content? You do it once, whether it's hard or easy.

    Hard, if you want easy play pokemon

    If content is a joke to finish the content, no matter the reward it is completely pointless. No feeling of reward, no feeling of accomplishment, everyone will have the stuff from it, the value of it will be nothing more or less (look at silver tricorns now... at least on my server they are at like 300k).

    Easy content is not bad at the start of a game because people are learning. but all easy content at midgame/lategame is horrible game design.

    The game should scale

    1-15 => easy as crap this is where you are learning the game should be easy to help you get into it
    15-25 => Starts to add in more stuff that is complex
    25-35 => you have to know what you are doing to succeed
    35-45 => Stuff is now hard to do, you should fail unless you know your job
    45+ => Requires a certain level of mastery at your job not to fail... this is endgame nothing should be "easy". If a member Leroy's something the alliance should fail and you should fail the run. If the tank fails to hold hate everyone should die.

    Sure, it's oversimplified, because the two opposites are very simple. We're dealing with black and white here, and while being given the option of having a choice is definitely plausible, you will still choose to do it the way YOU want to.

    Be as biased as you wish (not saying your comment was biased at all,) it's about what each specific person finds more enjoyable, not what they think is better for the game itself.

    Challenging content please.

    If you want to include everyone, have the option for content to be easy as well - just don't give good rewards for completing easy content. It's as simple as that.

    Keep the risk vs reward balance in check throughout the game.

    I'd prefer them to just pump out content, I don't care about the difficulty atm, lv50 isn't gonna be the level cap forever, when they raise the cap I expect more challenges. All I care about atm is having something to do and a reason to log on, give me easy content that takes awhile to complete or give me challenging content, thats more short term to complete but more satisfying, I just want something to do.
