Newbie about to start

Hi all,

I have just brought the game (patching it now) and i was wondering if there are any others about to just start playing that would like to pick a sever and play together?

(I was originally in the alpha test but only played a very short while so everything is extremely new to me) and i thought it would be a good way to meet some new people and start enjoying the game with.

I was planning to go the support/healer route and maybe play about with rdps like BLM/SMN as I have always been a healer since i started playing MMO's.

I started playing two weeks ago, but with my new character only a few days in the server of Lich.

But in which server you desire to play depends more or less of your game zone. For example Lich is in the european zone.

But if you want to enjoy even more this game in a 'fresh' server with a lot of new people starting just like you are doing, you should try Lich, or at least not those that are called 'Legacy' servers.

Depending on where you are (time zone) and if you like crowded or deserted servers, you have many options before you. Even if you pick blindly, you'll have a blast as longh as you make some friends to play with in the game. Keep an eye open for New Player friendly Free Companies (aka Guilds) too.

@Adrian74 I took your advice and picked the Lich server, (I am a european player so wanted EU times etc)

@ShadowDan I will keep an eye out for guilds to and I hope to make a few new friends along my adventures

Welcome to the forum and Eorzia.
Leviathan is a very friendly and busy server, however it is a NA server.
I used to be on a EU server (Phoenix) which seemed fine but see you already picked a server.
