How hard is Ultima HM compared to other endgame content?

Are they interchangeable according to boss, or does one become better than the other at some point?

coil has an accuracy cap, your goal is to stay above that or very close to that cap so as few attacks miss as possible.

for tanks pre turn 5 its 472. in addition, you want to maximize parry, your other main secondary stat.

allagan jewlery is all BiS, along with belt, and shield. helmet drops on turn 5, along with weapon. everything else is myth.

Ultima is a lot more forgiving than Extremes and Coil. I had a guy die like 10 times and was still able to beat it and multiple players dying as well.

I have beaten it like 30 times in DF (with players that said they were new), you're not going to get that type of odds in Garuda Ex. It's mostly a healer check rather so I queue up as whm.

Not exactly. Garuda has a much higher dps check (2 minute to kill both sisters, 30 seconds or so to kill all plumes) One mistake, wipe there, it's over.

Ultima you can die multiple times and is given a recovery phase each time . If you have a bard, the MP from swift raise is nominal.

You can die multiple times in Ultima as long as not everyone is dying at the same time on the same phase.

The damage lost is nominal because the raise time is quick.

Only time it is not good to die is bits. Lasers have to die, as that will cascade. Ifrit rush, garuda push, erruption spam, bomb malfunction, all recoverable

So if you beat Ultima HM, you can beat any other content in the game, except maybe Twintania.

All primals EX and even titan HM doesn't give you recovery phases. Ultima does. Saying ultima is in the same league as EX, coil, etc is....are you nuts!!!!?
