Please let us use crafting materials held by retainers

Make my crafting life easier, and my inventory too... I have inventory issues 95% of the day, having always to clear useless drops and save in the different retainers all the crafting stuff, without saving the stuff I want the most to craft at the moment...

I have a good organization with it, and of course I could save it all in retainers... But because sometimes I'm super lazy bastard, I prefer to have the more common stuff for crafting in inventory already...

if they do this you would most likely lose the ability to keep extra Unique items on retainer.

trade off is not worth it for me.

being able to search so that you know what you have on your retainer is enough for me.

Thats weird. I couldve sworn we could already do this. Must be thinking wrong game.

Also, I agree the retainer thing it s a horrible idea. Why we dont just have a bank is beyond me. Oh right... because selling more bank slots with a monthly fee sounds like more of a rip off than an extra 'retainer' to hold things for you.

Would be nice but they would shoot it down because it doesn't make sense to use materials that could potentially be half way across the world.

They've done it before in XI, so clearly that's not a big issue. Although I'm not sure how the lore explanation goes. Maybe some kind of moogle magic or something. I'm not sure about crafting in that game, but a friend told me you can change out gear that is in your storage on the fly now, so ya lol.

Forgot to add, I agree that changes are desperately needed. The Inventory management desperately needs some work. It's needed it for a long time. It's very hard to tell items apart. It's great that relics have a special tile color, but we probably need something like that for a lot of different kinds of items, to help with the visual aspect

I've seen this feature in other games and, I agree, would be great to get it here. We need Grekumah to stop in and read this so it can be passed to the devs!

There is a bit of lore behind retainers. It is said they follow you around town. So atleast anyplace that would reliably have a a retainer bell(main cities, housing wards and houses themselves) this should be possible. Outside of that I'd say no(even though I would like it).

If you were in close proximity to the retainer bell, sure. In city States, at houses, etc..

Anywhere else, out in the wild, or at gathering spots, etc.. Ehh, nah...

Don't see a reason. Rather them focus on other things, takes 10 seconds to grab whatever you need off retainer.
