    Server transfer is pointless for anyone on a legacy world anyway since you can't take your gil with you. Not even to another legacy world, which is ridiculous. I'd rather quit than lose my gil so that's what it may come to some day as the amount of EU players on Excalibur gets lower each week.

    Legacies would lose all their money? I guess it could be worth it if you are casual on a legacy.

    Roll your gil into materials, take it with you that way? Blue fox hide was selling for 95k on Leviathan when I checked last night.

    It's also worth keeping in mind that your gil goes further on the non-Legacy servers because everything costs less there.
