Fashion items (character and chocobo)

I doubt things like capes will ever be implemented, as SE would have to spend a lot of time having to add extra meshes to the character models, as well as making sure they don't clip with existing armour etc, something that would be very time consuming with little return. This was the reason why they changed from 1.0 where belts went from being separate items to no longer appearing, instead whatever body piece you were wearing has a default belt attached that may not be the same as what belt you're actually equipped with - it was for technical reasons.

As for chocobo colouring, considering other FF games chocobo colour was actually part of the chocobo's breeding, it just wouldn't work, unless it was some kind of dye system. But then, I'd consider that a form of animal abuse. That poor chocobo!
