Because that is an horrible idea, totally useless & it doesn't make any good in games.

Just look at all the F2P, P2W games. In every single game of this type, you can buy virtual money with real bucks, and guess what ? Pay the most be the best. People quit the games after throwing lots of money and never comes again. A mmo can't live from 400 rotating players. It needs a good playerbase which doesn't quit after 1 month because they can't pay enough to catch the top tier players

Buying gil in this game would never allow an individual to "be the best" by design. So long as raid gear edges out market bought gear, it would never cause issues. The major influx of gil would go towards housing, which is a gil sink so all that gil would disappear almost as quickly as it was generated on the server.

you know the best way to stop rmt make every thing dungon drop and all rare/untradeable and replace gill with tomes that can on ly be earned and traded to npc for exchange for another rare/untradeable see no gill and only your char can use them or can give it back to the game so they make less money

really the simplest solution to RMT is instead of banning their accounts, ban the registration key of the entire copy of the game they use. you ban the toon they currently use it takes them 30 seconds to create a new one.

problem with that is they would buy a new copy and use fake info

I wouldn't want my hard earned gil directly going into an FC bank. If I want to donate to the FC, I will. I don't like that idea at all, lol allowance. PFT!
