Thread: Does anyone else miss the original Battle Theme from v1.0?

I apologize if there's already been a thread about this but I couldn't see any D;

Anyways~ I don't think they should have let such a good theme go to waste! I do like the new one but I thought v1.0's theme was soo much better in like a motivational way too! I hope they add it back in! for maybe PvP or something atleast.

Yes. I miss all of the battle music and all the leve themes too. I've been wondering why they threw away dozens of (good!) tracks and replaced them by one or two tracks that play aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall the time (and aren't even that good to begin with).

Why did they get rid of these tracks?!!?!?! And FFXIV 1.0 had a different battle theme for each area?!

That was one area where 2.0 was a clear step-down. The 1.0 music was amazing. I still listen to Twilight Over Thanalan on my way to work.

I also liked 1.0 tracks more, but unlike 2.0, they were playing constantly in a loop and I guess any music - even the best, would get boring that way...

IMO they should just make the music change on day/night, should be enough to break the monotony of it... But I don't like the current 10 sec music and 5 min quiet

Ugh sounds like a rip off of Force your way from FF8
I dislike most of the tracks in 14 and arr besides Pharus Sirius track and the track from ale port

I miss the Battle Theme from 1.0 as well as many other tracks, such as the one that plays during leves. I'm glad I got the 1.0 Soundtrack; just wish there was a way to play it instead of certain tracks in-game.
