Portable Aetheryte Stone?

Would like to hear your thoughts on possibly having a portable Aetheryte stone...

How it would work is that at any one time you could place it down somewhere and be able to port to that location...

Im getting lazy riding over to Gerolt and thought of it haha. Not sure if they have talked about anything similar but I know some other games I've played have done it.

I thought about this too. Kind of like the one time save point crystal item in FF7.

If it's doable on the technical side, I definitely think they should look into it.

If you mean the housing item, yes it does work to my knowledge. At least it says it does in the item description.

Just use the Choco Porter....we don't need travel being even easier.

I don't think this is overly feasible, if you think saving down the exact location of the aetheryte for every single pokers on on all the worlds would be a pain. Also it's not like it takes a long time to get anywhere after going to an aetheryte in the first place. Take your example, tele to fallgout or gridania and it takes about 3 minutes to get to gerolt.

For lazy people there is the choco porter. You can go to the chocobo npc, choose the destination, go into the kitchen to make something to eat and if you are back on the PC your character reached the destination.

I agree travel is too fast as it is... We don't need more teleporting lol

Travel is already easy and over abundant. I say no :-\ world feels small already
