    New player having various problems

    Hello, a friend of mine is trying to get into the game. He was super excited, until well, various issues started eating away at his initial excitement, and now he is more or less, irritable and frustrated.
    First problem he has experienced, when he bought the game digitally, was when he downloaded the game file initially, it was corrupt, stating that it was not able to work on his system. Was able to finally get that issue fixed for him, but he has not received any receipt for his digital purchase and is in fear that he may have been charged twice.

    Second, no confirmation e-mails. He has registered and still has not received those e-mails asking for him to confirm his own e-mail, and he does not have a registration code for the game. He is a little concerned about how he will be able to play, or even start, since of all these various hiccups.
    Is there something wrong with the system currently? When AAR was up, it did not take nearly this long to get in and play, and I am positive there was a lot more traffic then compared to this evening.

    Had this problem when trying to buy the game at first as well. Called my bank and they saw the charge and 'sent it through' and the email came. I don't know if it is the same, but have your friend check his bank, if he was charged and pending, he might have to call the bank to see if they can 'confirm it' and move it through. If he wasn't charged, I would suggest trying again or buying Crysta from a physical store.

    Or just get a physical copy. That's always less of a hassle.

    In some countries, sadly, it's not so easy to get a physical copy. (SPAIN for example.)

    So we have to try a downloadable version.

    I understand you because I also had a lot of troubles, suffering and estress trying to make the square enix account, the paying method, the download, the registration emails, etc.... It is having patience.

    In my case the bank confirmed it at the moment, as someone said, maybe your friend should try to check if the bank accepted the transfer or not.

    I remember I also needed to register in many sites, and in one of them square enix had a message saying that I couldn't log in because they were under maintenance...Really annoying, indeed. (And I was estressed with the download because I had the fear that if it stopped or something how to download it again. Yet I wonder how to download it back in case that happens)

    Sadly I can't think in any useful answer after all...Maybe the email appeared in trash or spam folders?
