New 15 minute timer is awful for Primals/Bosses

Please change it back to 5 min to vote abandon. Often you can tell after 2 wipes that your group can't beat something. For example if the same person dies to landslide twice in a row on Titan EX you know you aren't going to beat the fight due to that one person. With 15 min vote abandon someone now has to take the 30 min debuff just so everyone else can leave.

To be fair, make it at least 10 minutes, 15 is too much.

Firstly, 1.0 was rushed out to try to "compete" with Cataclysm, they didn't expect us to like it lol, they wanted to meet a quota and try to beat competition. Secondly, this does prevent abuse because people always vote abandon after 1 or 2 wipes, sometimes sh*t happens - Then you have trolls on the NA/EU datacenter (and yes I've only seen this happen on NA/EU datacenter) that vote abandon randomly once you reach behemoth or tita..acheron which sometimes catches people off guard and they accidentally hit yes or a whole team does it just to troll the run.

It's a good change It also promotes people actually trying stuff rather than "whelp we wiped, why even bother, no one shot, fail group, bye!"

It's only for Vote Abandon, not kick as far as I've seen. If someone wants to leave that badly they can leave and take the 30 min lockout.

well when the half that votes to abandon is the ones with short queue times, yea it's been getting abused.

I like it, I hate it people Vote Abandon right when a wipe. People keep expecting a one shot Primal, especially the extreme one. Tank and healer not so much, but a DPS have to wait 30 minutes for it.

Because half the party is two healers and two tanks. There's no downside to them quitting as they can just queue again and get another instance swiftly, whereas the DPS could be queuing for anywhere up to an hour.

It's annoying... you get players completely under geared and the group has to wait 15 minutes to get out bc that person or persons won't leave.

It's not abuse if half the group wants out.
