This is just my personal opinion, and I can't really understand the thought process behind making your customizable attributes so expensive to change. To me, it seems to limit customization to only your primary stat, while punishing you if you want to change stats up with a 10k tome limit.

I feel it stalls progression and free customization that this game is severely lacking.
Why impose such a high tome cap just to adjust stats? For instance, my warrior plays both offtank and damage dealer in coil. It would be great to pump those 30 vit points into 30 str to be more efficient on certain turns. But with such a high tome cap, your forced into a narrow path of "bis stats" that really stalls any kind of creativity.

I propose SE removes the heavy tome cap for hymns, and allows us to buy a stat change. Currently I can't see why this would be game breaking, and should be implemented over the current close minded attribute allocation we have now. What are you're thoughts? Should we keep it as is, or allow more freedom of customization?

The thing is that it is expensive. It takes quite a while to farm 10k tomes, and for small adjustments between primals/coil/whatever be it. For the amount of things a stat changed could be used for, 10k tomes are just way to expensive to really allow any sort of freedom.

Are you trying to start a troll discussion or something? At first I thought you just had a slip of the tongue but you ACTUALLY BELIEVE that a respec costs you tomes?

It's grand company seals... those things you can get for trading in trash dungeon drops or running some FATEs in your off time. Hell I spent over 14k buying my FC an aetheryte after the last patch and made that back with next to no effort.

I think he meant you're using the term "tomes" and not "seals" because it takes 10,000 Grand Company Seals to purchase a Hymn Keeper. Not tomes, which are philosophy and mythology respectively.

OT: I agree though, it isn't "that fast" to get 10k, per every time you want to respec, which is why I stopped playing SCH at all and just focus solely on SMN. Yoshi-P got what he wants.

I know it is hard to get this through to you but you really have to get it out of your head that respecs require tomes.

Like I said I had figured that you had a slip of the tongue and had meant to say seals all along but then you went on about how you need to farm primals/coil/whatever so you really have it stuck in your head somehow that allagan tomes are somehow required for buying hymns. If you're going to complain about something you should at least have the slightest clue about what you're complaining about.

Better yet try and squeeze into your head that you don't need to be the absolute perfect specimen of your job at all times. I've had my stats split 20/10 on my Smn/Sch and I haven't had a single occasion where someone chewed me out because my healing showed a 20 mind deficit or my DoTs were obviously 10 Int behind the other Smn the party knew.

duty roulette, FATEs, GC leves, beastmen dailies, supply & provision missions, GC hunting log.

That's the entire point. They specifically do not want you doing it quickly. You're complaining about something they specifically said that they did on purpose. This will go no where.
