Wrong - in FFXI he was extremely ruthless in an 'end justifies the means' way, as he wanted to destroy Vana'diel and kill all life simply to stop Promathia's resurrection, and FFXIII-2 Bahamut Caius's ultimate form (he turns into three separate versions!). I guess you could also count FFXII as well, but that's a giant airship with Bahamut's name and not actually the King of the Dragons (although Vayne's final form does resemble Bahamut a bit).

Anyway, there are definitely instances of Bahamut in the FF series being actually evil (and it should be noted in those examples he is completely unsummonable by players).

i am betting that the battle dev team is planning to have the turn 9 boss that you have to beat is Louisoix that has been corrupted by the aether that was discharged by the violent release of bahamut and i am also gussing that the fight might include an instacast debuff of death where as party has a time limit to beat him with the future last boss being ultamitly being bahamut my thought will probably be deleted by the forum mod team if i am even close to what they are planning. i would do it this way

Well, in ff11 he wanted to destory mankind because they brought around emptiness iirc which would destroy everything, including animals and such (which is why he wanted to get rid of man kind).
So kill all life was somewhat incorrect because he warned us of on coming Apocalypse.

In 13-2 Caius summoned it and used it for evil. While in 13 Fang had used it for good, so once again he isn't really "evil". Plus Caius wasn't really either >.>; he just cared for Yuel and wanted to end her endless suffering.

I personally don't think coils will end in this update and that there are more turns to come. It does seem a bit odd that they're ending it at 9 this time but I guess it's just easier to manage loot in 4 areas rather than 5.

Bahamuts never been evil as such just has an extreme view of everything. For example in XI it's as if killing the problem is the only way for him, while the heroes (us) find the best possible way with the least sacrifice. You could say he doesn't have that instinct or emotion, but then he is a huge dragon king so what can you expect?

That's right! Darn cities were in the way of his giga flare! Plus who wouldn't be annoyed if they were trapped in a sphere (in outer space)? Also, look what he did for Eorzea, he made the graphics look better and fixed the tree issue in The Black Shroud ! Such a kind primal king.

If whatever you're shooting doesn't die after you pump 8, 32 caliber, slugs into it, it's probably a dragon.

Yes but you farmed for CoP items before doing the story battles, not during.

We don't know when Coil will end but it certainly will end once Bahamut is brought back to his full strength and the fight with Bahamut begins in the Main Storyline.

Coil storyline purpose is not only to explain Bahamut's fate after End of te Era but also to foreshadow the upcoming Final Battle with Bahamut in the Future Main Storyline and what lead to that Final Battle. Covering certain events no one will know about or know why certain events are happening in the Bahamut Arc of the Main Storyline unless they go through Coil's Storyline.

After Bahamut's defeat we will probably get a new Elder Primal to defeat in the Main Storyline somewhere on another Continent due to the Ascian's Plans

Depending on how far the Bahamut Arc of the Main Storyline is will determine how long SE will have Coil before they finally end Coil and introduce a new Endgame Dungeon similar to Coil but with a different name.

I'm sorry to have to say but not everything I said was directed towards you, or even anyone in particular, afterall this is a group discussion.

All we need is "The Minstrel's Ballad: Nael Deus Darnus"

Allow us to fight the original Darnus HM fight with a recreated arena for the new engine. Leave his original battle mechanics in place, not a script fight. Let his HP restore to 100% half way through again. Pls Yoshi, Pls.

Bahamut was most of the time a being of power and destruction, either a simple big dragon you encounter that is neither good nor evil, or sometimes a Dragon that test your strength but everytime he means destruction and power.

That doesn't seem different in FFXIV ( first thing he does is DESTROY EVERYTHING KABOOOOOOMMMM !!!!! ) we don't know if he seeks revenge against mankind or is simply a Beast that wants only to destroy , we don't know anything about elder primals except that they can summon themselves and the only thing that we can do about it is to trap them.
