Get rid of automatically logging out every 30 minutes...

I'm getting pretty sick of this, everytime I go to the bathroom for a nice long visit with a game system or my iphone, I come back and my character is logged out. I'm a man, I enjoy my bathroom visits and I refuse to rush, but this is getting pretty annoying. SE only put in the 30 minute timer in the game cause there were logging in issues during launch. That hasn't been an issue in a LONG time, don't you guys think it's time to cut the crap so I can take a relaxing crap without having me being logged out. Sure it's really easy and quick to log back in, that's not the issue, the issue is my good mood that I got from a nice bathroom visit is killed when I see the 10FPS intro video running.

That's another thing, why is it that I play at 1080 at a great FPS, yet the intro video makes me think my PC isn't strong enough to handle Street Fighter II??? Seriously, why does the video run crappy on my PC (ATI), my wife's even stronger PC (NVIDIA) and my friend's PC, which is the strongest of all three (NVIDIA) - All of them run the video like a Pentium III would...even when reduced to 720p... Why not just ditch your flawed video playback and get some help from the VLC guys so you can have a great looking video (instead of the grainy mess we get on the PC) and have it run at a normal speed. This isn't just a problem with the intro video, this crap happens when FMV is used ingame (for example, ummm, spoilers I guess, when you first leave your town through airship and you get that garlean video, the first half of it isn't done ingame, it's FMV using ingame graphics instead of CG graphics, which is hella strange to begin with.)

I mean is it really that bad to take 30 seconds to log back in? If your making a post to complain about something that takes 30 seconds to do, you got bigger issues than this lol

Maybe it didn't occur to you but maybe logging in isn't a problem because we have that 30 min auto-log out?

No. I'd rather have them keep it. I still get queues to log in, which don't take long to get me in game, but that's precisely thanks to the auto-log out feature. People have obviously left the game, but it's still heavily populated. I never want to experience the same BS we dealt with when we couldn't get in game because the servers and even the lobby were too full.

Just open a dialog with an NPC, there's nearly always one close by, and leave it hanging then you can AFK for hours on end.

It's there to help clear out people hogging space.
However, if it's really that important that you're still logged in, you can:
1. Be in dialogue with an NPC.
2. Be in the middle of crafting something.
3. Be in the middle of gathering something.
4. Set up an unreliable macro loop.

if you on ps3 put the controller upside down so the sticks are pressed, if you on pc put sometting on your keyboard that keeps a arrow/WSAD pressed - problem solved
