After 9 months nothing great has been added. I doubt they will be able to recover from the mass loss of players.

Call That little =)
He's not totally off though....and yes, that is little if you compare it to pretty much any other MMO. Also half that crap is half baked or just odd in general. "lets make it bigger" "lets add in tons of targeting systems...but not the nessicary ones like auto target" "lets have events that make you ring bells" ...ect
Among the large amount of words is a lot of nothing and not so great content...or even things that might seem useless because they seem to refuse to just fix it the right way. That and lots of bug fixes, though more of them came from what they changed/added then what was already there.
And still many people think not much has been done, if they had a poll right now i can guarantee most people would feel that way. If your someone who thought after 8+ months there would be lots of content and things to do now...well you would be very dissapointed, not only is there not much, but much of it is not very good.
Yes, I call that very very very very very very little. Infact I call that pathetic. INFACT I call that the most laughable attempt at saving a game that is currently in a freefall without even having a parachute attached.
Yes, I indeed would call that very little, very very little.
Ok, now that you've stated that, think about implementing new content without those patches.Yes, I call that very very very very very very little. Infact I call that pathetic. Yes, I indeed would call that very little, very very little.
Or think about not taking 9 months to stop the Prince of Pestilence occasionally porting into a wall.
Or think about not taking 9 months to add target mode C.
Or think about the roughly 30 minutes work it would take to add in a simple mail delivery system, even copy pasted from FFXI, but instead of mog houses, your retainers!
Ok so they added a few NM's, and some new quests?
Did they not say that they need to rebuild from the ground up, so they didn't want to put any new content out until the basics are fixed. So why did they add new content and not fix the basics?
The patches are abysmal, the game is a joke, I only play it at the moment because:
a) It is free (wouldn't even think about thinking about paying for it)
b) I got a shiny new PC and picked up a copy of the game for €6 just to see how the next gen graphics looked at full on it (disc could have been blank for all I cared at that price)
c) I am in an amazing linkshell with fantastic people who I chat with on Ventrilo every night
d) I want it to be great, and I have managed to endure the awful systems in place in the blind faith that the old Sqauresoft guys will lock the Sqeunix guys in the toilets while they run in and get everything magically fixed
Now, think about adding new content without those patches you say?
Think about not adding those patches at all, getting the game to a standard that would be suitable to begin paying monthly for, then you would never have to worry about adding those patches in the first place.
