Monster Name:
Twintania during divebomb phase.
In-Game Time:
Everytime i tried it on PS3, after 2.1 patch.
Steps:
While killing twintania, after the conflagration phase ends, the very first divebomb is unavoidable using the PS3 hardware if you are not moving before the warning (sound and green circle) appears.
I have killed twintania multiple times, on my PC and PS3. I have no issue dodging any divebomb on PC, and no issue dodging any divebombs on PS3, only the first one.
In my group we use the strategy where we all stack in the hole between the fingers of bahamut and move as a group from the divebombs.
In the PS3 every time we stack, the very first divebomb will hit me, and throw me in the fire really close to the pit (automatically killing me), which makes me think that the server/game actually thinks i haven't moved from the pit yet.
I also found a way to bypass this problem, by staying alone in the middle of the arena and moving continuously in a straight line, so if the first divebomb is on me, since i was already moving when the warning appeared, i can dodge it fine.
After that first divebomb, i can go back to the pit and avoid all the following divebombs the same way i do in PC.
I believe it may be related to the PS3 loading the divebomb ability and delaying either the warning or the char movement. I usually have 110-150ms ping to cerberus server (199.91.189.26).
This is a bug that does not really affect me directly, since i can work through it, but i think since the game is available for both platforms, the mechanic should be avoidable in the same way for all the players/platforms.
Also, there should be some ps3 players trying to down Twintania, and when they encounter this problem and are unable to dodge, they might be mistakenly seen as bad players, when the fact is, that the very first divebomb in that fight is pretty much impossible to dodge in that platform.
