The worst 2 CT runs I ever had were caused by a tank who'd come in wearing broken SB gear and would purposely die-->homepoint to front of instance, step outside of rooms just before they lock, and early-pull every chance they had, while being very smug about it all.

They also made a topic on forums a few days ago trying to teach others to troll CT and ruin everyones day. But it got deleted I believe.

They might even be reading this thread right now!

It was a dark and stormy night.

The adventurers, numbering twenty-four in total, entered the tower made of pure orange crystal. None of them had any fun at all.

Also, the piece everyone wanted dropped...but they had already used their weekly roll for a Dragoon piece!!!

I've been very lucky, actually, in CT on both DPS and healer queues really. There are some "less than friendly" people in some of them, but the only really bad group I had was when we couldn't get past Behemoth because the melees would invariably get chosen for comets and wouldn't move them away from His Royal Highness. There were lots of replacements...<_< I kinda expected Bone Dragon to have more problems, but, there it is.

lol yes lots of horror, but that just makes things interesting

Our tank DC'd on first boss and then DD DC'd on second boss which led to the inevitable Iron Giant wipe lol

With no replacements, we carried on with 6 people and with some kind help from the other 2 groups we completed CT

While not quite a horror story i had a rather annoying run one time, i was the main tank of my group and we had done very well throughout the entire run, finished off the Vassago encounter and suddenly i was met by hostile remarks from a whitemage who had replaced another healer prior to the vassago engagement, his remarks were towards me not pulling the vassago out of the fire he places upon the ground for the dps, despite me having moved him over to the side of it so our only melee dps (A dragoon.) was able to hit him, shortly after as we raced up to Behe his slander continued and of course i retaliated when i was dismissed from the duty upon doing so. I found this rather frustating as of course i had more than pulled my weight throughout the entire encounter only to be kicked shortly before the end. A horror that assholes will appear from nowhere and ruin your experience.

Had a DPS drop between Bone Dragon and Atomos. Replacement was a BLM iirc. Myself and another tank said him with the healers and a BRD on the platform, others on boss. After that, he proclames he gets to do Atomos, and when we wipe he rages at us. We tell him to stand his ass on the platform when we get back, and he either got locked out of the fight or did the same thing, don't remember which. Initiate vote-kick, boom he's gone. Smooth sailing the rest of the raid.

Another:
I was in Party A with a few FC members, 4/8. Parties B & C wipe on first room. Thankfully our group finishes off the mobs. 4th guy from FC dc's, system auto-kicks him. 2nd room, again B & C wipe, myself and FC WAR buddy finish off the room with our 3rd FC friend. 3rd... again, B & C wipes except for a tank in C, but then something happens where A wipes and C's tank is last man standing. Cue Vote-Quit, rejected. Make it through to Bone Dragon... everything smooth until the end where he has ~1% health... and the shit hits the fan and everyone wipes. Another Vote-Quit, and it passes.

3rd:
Atomos again. Again Party A with the 2 FC friends. Don't remember how try 1 goes, but we wiped. 2nd a tank from B or C rushes in and about half of each party is locked out. Think this was the one where we had the worst healers ever on KB fight, too. Wipe at least twice, no healers healing the MT, IG running around rampant. 3rd time I'm on NE tower, tossing up SS and my pitiful PLD Cures on the MT when I can. We somehow survive.

worst ct run? a group made us whipe on the very first pull about 4 times then there entiergroup called the rest of us noobs and left fully we had to wait fr a new alliance to join before starting

I prevent problems on the first pull by immediately going after the Valefor first. I find that if I don't, almost always someone will invite it to join our party and then all hell breaks loose from there. I'll meet the Valefor on the far pad, turn it appropriately and hold it until the party finishes the elementals and is able to dps the valefor

idk the last run I did the group was nit picking at each other wiped like 30+ times after I got what I needed I just gave up and spent time with my wife
