I completed the achievement "A Goldsmith's Life for Me" and the promised item Gavel of the Luminary was not rewarded. Filled out a support ticket, and the GM thinks that the forum will somehow grant me the item, as they are unwilling/unable to.

I just noticed that my Main Hand armory chest is full. The issue may be that when the item is granted, it does not roll over to the main chest if the armory chest is full, but I'm not willing to spend another 3 months leveling a second goldsmith and crafting another 5,600 recipes to recreate the issue
Did you talk to the guy in Apkallu Falls and 'Share a tale' with him? Doing that is how you get every other Achievement reward... just completing the Achievement doesn't magically put the item into your inventory.
Thanks, Hezkezl!
Apparently, I needed to divine that you talk to a guy by a waterfall in Gridania in order to get achievement item rewards. I didn't know that, and neither did the GMs who answered my ticket. If only I had remembered the mention of Jonathas on that one tooltip that popped up all those months ago.
Greetings Metafor,
We encourage you to attempt the suggestion offered by Hezkezl. As you have not responded, we are going to go ahead and assume this has resolved. If this does not resolve the issue, please create another bug report thread and use the bug reporting template found Here. Also, please state the steps you have attempted to resolve this issue.
