Would you be upset if the game went offline?

MMO trickle updates, and there isn't anything new here infact we get updates faster then most mmo.

Can you substantiate that claim? Just today I saw a comparison of XIV to Rift that showed quite the opposite of what you're claiming, but if you can prove otherwise I'd feel much better about XIV's prospects.

They are just fixing more then adding. So I do not think it matters if the shut down the servers or not. Would I be upset? Yes because i bought a game to play, and I'm having fun.

Also your suggestion about the devs playing ffxi, is a bad one. The game is a lot like ffxi atm. And I do not want a copy game, I want a new one. I think those who do not like the game at all should just quit, and quit posting on the forums. They will never like this game, and most are stuck in the past of mmo. They want tedious game play for the sake of an artifical challenge. I'm personally now just waiting for the ps3 version and playing WoW in the mean time. Not because of the game, but the community. No one talks and its dragging the game down in my opinion. Its at the point where i rather see trade trolling then deal with silence.

Mostly because how "fun" a game is shouldn't determin how talkative the community is.

I, uh... okay. You first claim, in the purple, that you're having fun with XIV but then say you don't actually play XIV.

Also, in the bold is stuff I'm not even going to comment on but I didn't want you to think I wasn't paying attention.
