I doubt very much that SE is actively scanning for youtube videos to block and close their accounts. It has to be youtube's automatic system who is doing it:

Normally, I would agree. However, in the case of Warrage prior to his YT account being terminated, the video went down with a "There has been a copyright claim made by SE bla bla bla", I don't remember the exact message they give when its a copyright strike request made by a company. So yes, they are apparently actively looking for youtube videos/accounts to block and/or close.

I've been defending a lot of the different aspects of this game and the integrity of SE a lot on this forum this past month. I even had a "vacation" because of two threads I authored titled: "Here's looking forward to the unsub "movement""(was very sarcastic) and "Where are your parents?!?!?!".

I won't defend this decision, rules or no rules.
