    i haven't made many videos in xiv up to this point even in 1.0, but i love watching others videos they created. to me fan made hype videos is just free advertising that se cannot do themselves. these videos are made by people that enjoy what they are doing and are doing them to show others how much they care. everything from big football games, to anime vidoes, fps, and even mmo's have been done for ages and i love watching them.

    yes, i do agree if they want to keep the ban for those that show usage of 3rd party programs and known glitches and ban people for those that's one thing, but overall i think the rule is horrible for the majority of people that make these videos.

    I think the issue is that we are not paying them enough. All the 'guides' on youtube have had edits done. Also, as mentioned, I can link to a ton of vids with 3rd party music right now that are still up. Square? Why are you slacking!

    Maybe someone should post Answers on a video of them running through La Noscea on a private host of some kind not tied to youtubes restrictions and see if they get a cease and desist letter. Preferably this should be someone who does not actively play the game so their account would not be in jeopardy.
