Gender dependent items when phial of fantasia is used not changing to new gender.

Hi,

When a character changes gender with a phial of fantasia in game you are left with the issue that any gender dependent gear/items do not change over as well and there is no way of exchanging them in game for the new genders items.

There should be a warning when using phial of fantasia that items do not change over as any event gear that I have received prior to changing gender is now useless.

This has particularly disappointed me with the Lightning Returns fate as I did the first part of this back in November and hoped that I would be able to either exchange the gloves I received in game with an NPC (like many other items can be exchanged) or that they would automatically change with the gender change.

Are there any plans to fix this by either adding an NPC that people can use or by changing the code so that the items owned that are gender dependent automatically change as well?

I have contacted support but as I have asked for an item to previously be restored on my account my requests regarding exchanging the gloves or having an NPC in the game are thus being ignored. I am not asking for a restored item but either for a means within the game to exchange items be introduced or that items automatically change when the phial of fantasia is used. As it seems silly for people to be left with items that they can now not use.

I was wondering this same thing too.

I changed sexes and want the snow gear but i was a female the first time. they should give us a way to exchange these items for the other sex. point is, i was loyally playing the game when i got these items, i should be able to enjoy them regardless of the gender of my character. please give us an option to exchange female only lightning gear for the snow gear.....

I don't have the link, but this issue was announced as low priority planning stage months back. I would expect to see it resolved the patch after vanity slots come out.

so we just keep the items and they change over eventually? I don't mind as long as it's sorted out eventually
