Help! I'm drowning in Darklight gears!

Due to the overabundance of philosophy stones, it's very easy to get DL gear for your sub classes. However! I am now finding myself absolutely FLOODED with it!

The pattern goes like:
1. Oh i have lots of Philos time to get some gear for my black mage!
2. Oh I got a bunch of crystal tower gear so I no longer need this DL gear!
3. Oh my god I only have 4 slots in my armor inventory and my retainer's overflowing! Ahhh! Σ(ﾟдﾟlll)


So now the question/suggestion is what can we do with our old DL gears?
It seems like a waste to just discard them. Is there any way we can trade them in for Grand Company seals? Or perhaps store them in the armoire like AF gears? I'm starting to get discouraged from getting DL armor for any sub classes now simply because I don't have the room for it and it will feel like a waste afterwards. So please SE, give us something to do with all these DL gears thank you!

You can always throw away the armor pieces you dont like and keep the ones you plan on use as vanity, once the system's implemented. I'm quite sure the great majority of the playerbase is saving their DL heavy set, specially the chest armor, eagerly waiting to be able to use it as skin for their most advanced gear!

I just can't see SE giving us an option to trade those armors. They served their end and you just discard them afterward.

I'm afraid I'll discard them and then SE will be like "oh btw you can now trade your old DL gears for xyz" or something. I wish there was some official world saying yes or no and if no that's ok - I can live with it but I just want to be 100% sure! I don't really like any of the DL gears (especially the cowls on the caster/healer classes) so honestly I'm probably going to get rid of them if I can't trade them in.

Haha, yea, I get that fear too. Like, down the road, you trade this in to get this super awesome item!

Unlike XI any gear by then would be worthless and not retroactively available to it, so you won't have to worry about that.

You can always buy the DL gear new. It is now not a problem to get the philo stones for it.

not that you'd have any use for those seals anyway.

oh right I completely forgot you can do that. what gives! I'm rather happy with my myth gear and I want to get rid of the DL gear lol!

It's not even worth the 2 minutes it takes you to walk to your Grand Company. It's what, like maybe 200 seals for a myth item? Who cares. Given how long it takes to get myth items you would think it'd be more on the magnitude of giving at least 1000 seals apiece- not that you'd have any use for those seals anyway.

They should just make the Armoire actually hold everything that's blue or purple, with some extras like event items. I've never seen a "special item storage" done so poorly.
