inb4 thread derailed by same-sex discussion.
this could have been such a nice photo thread -.-
I saw a picture with two male characters doing a V-day limit break, so it might be. I'm not sure.
You can do the V-day heart particle effect with anyone from any sex. You just need to have opposite parts of the Prismatic heart item which you can buy for gil.
As for the last quest in the line you need 1 pure heart and 1 bitter heart to turn it in and get the chest piece. Females get pure hearts from their quests and males get bitter hearts from their quests up to this point. You will need to trade with someone from the opposite sex to finish this final quest. I do not find this at all un-equal to same sex couples and there is no malice involved in an attempt to discriminate unless people turn it in to that. It is simply the easiest way to distribute hearts and have players interact with one another for this event. I am more concerned that there will be not enough hearts to go around as you only have 2 total to give away if you want to buy the full set and if there is an imbalance of female or male characters it could get interesting.
ALL in ALL... its a cute event with a little gimmick. Please do not try to twist it into more than it is or be so easily offended that this is somehow a huge issue.
Well I shouted for an hour to find some dude to trade with who I will probably never speak to again. I don't see what couples have to do with anything.

A cute, fun, fluff thread is not the place to bring up a discussion about same-sex equality. It's like going into a "Pics of your cute puppy!" thread and then derailing the thread by bringing up how puppy mills are bad. Yes, it's a serious topic and should be discussed, but find a better home for it. -.-
Plz just stay on topic ty![]()
Puppy mills are pretty bad though.
