Is this true? I've seen them stated as spoken in the past, and if they weren't, they have a lot more common with seedkin than land mammals.Originally Posted by Vorsaile

Allow me to elaborate. In recent weeks, my eye has been drawn to unusual movements among the sylphs, those charming-yet-troublesome beastkin with whom we share our forest home.

Honestly, it seems the classification of what kind of kin a monster in seems all over the place in quests and leve descriptions. This is far from the only discrepancy.
Dear localisation team, just to continue on with the "beastkin" and sylph theme, in the beastmen daily quest "No Root For You" in Little Solace, the Shifty Carpenter says:
Undamaged lumber is in short supply these days, thanks to the mischief of those nasty beastkin from Little Solace! How will we keep up the buildings of our nation? This one daresays that the sylphs of Little Solace are Gridania's true enemy."
