How to get to Free Company house?

I have absolutely no idea how to get anywhere in this game other than of course running. So how do I get to the housing area?

Which area? Limsa, Gridania, or Ul'dah? They each have their own area/quest. They should also give you directions on where to go.
Limsa's is by Red Rooster Stead in Eastern La Noscea through Tempest Gate.
Gridania's is in Central Shroud through Blue Badger Gate, south of Bentbranch.
Ul'dah's is out the Sultana Gate most of the way down the 80 Sins Of Sasamo.

Since you are an archer, I'm guessing you're looking for Gridania. Go out Blue Badger, go South then West to Bentbranch, then continue South and take the left (East) branch. The monsters are around level 10, so you may want to level a bit first.

You need to unlock the area's first... There are little mini quests that unlock the area's and then you can touch a crystal and warp to them after there unlocked... Whenever you see a blue crystal you need to touch it... This will adhere to the crystal and you can use it for transport either in the zone or to other zones plus you can set one as your home point and warp to the point for free...

If your own FC has a house and they have a miniature aetheryte at the yard, the housing area will automatically be on top of your teleport menu.
