    What has happened to you is a real shame. I'm not going to say to you that you're totally blameless for the situation here, but I'm not going to rub salt in the wounds as others have been. All I will say is I hope this is rectified in some way and if not maybe you will decide to start the game again at some point in the future. I know how bad you must feel, as all of us would feel the same after losing that amount of progress.

    I put in a request in D3 after i got hacked got rolled back in 24 hours. 23 days of letting you play is crazy.

    I sympathize with you OP, that does suck. But it's also a good learning experience. Always have an authenticator, do not visit shady sites.. etc. I've been playing since day 1 and nobody has ever bothered me in this way.

    so um... pure logic here.

    i get hacked on a certain date.
    customer service offers me a rollback.
    i say yes, knowing a rollback will roll back the character data to the last saved point before the hack.

    then i keep playing for three weeks and then wonder that i've been rolled back three weeks?
    there is no partial rollback.
    "yea please roll back my character but not my progression" lolwut?

    the only thing that really sucks here is that you basically paid 3 weeks for nothing
    (which you still agreed on, because SE only has to guarantee the service - not the progression)
    and so you could just ask them in a fair manner if they can reduce your fee for that month.

    I felt bad for you OP, but really, don't you think that 23 days was kinda too long? Shouldn't you follow up the matter yourself if SE didn't get back to you? You expect SE to solve the problem within couple of days but what will happen if that couple of days you just beat Twintania, and your weapon dropped from her? You will probably complain again if they roll back, right?

    The thing is I know SE sure is taking their time to fix your problem, but you should also know as well that since they are going to roll back your data, you shouldn't even try to progress too much before at least able to obtain more information about it.

    Wow a lot of Victim Blaming going on in this thread. For what's it's worth OP. I'm sorry this has happened to you. I know SE has a rep of having one of the worst customer service around but stories like this still wow me on how bad it really is. I hope that somehow you can recover from this on a personal level and find a way to enjoy the game. But I can understand if this forever taints your ability to enjoy the game again. (oh and I don't think you sounded like an ass at all in the convo you honestly sounded fairly reserved given the situation)

    3 weeks is way too long to get a response. Should've just reimbursed the Gil instead of rolling back 3 weeks worth of playtime. Shows how much "research" they put into their investigation in those 3 weeks. Again, it's just plain incompetence from SE.

    to the op why did you get hacked let me guss you attempted to buy gill rmt or level service when is players going to realize that's what happenens beside getting banned and the coustomer service is great by the way never have a problem quick response and curtious
