Allows players to correct DF-formed party stacking (2x WHM becoming WHM+SCH, for instance) to build LB faster, allows people to switch to a better-geared or more suitable class if stuck in a dungeon (like if a 2x BLM party can't finish Demon Wall smoothly), allows players to reactively choose appropriately between job and class when doing duty roulette (based on pre-30 or post-30 dungeon assignment). . .

I might be able to come up with more, but I'm mostly just playing devil's advocate. I don't care that much, really.
