What? How does that make sense lore wise?
At all?
In any way?
Whatsoever?

Glad they put an end to the debate. To me, it was already spelled out with the exclusive Conjurer spells...
Current class descriptions could feasibly put either Job in either category, by a stretch, whether one fits better than the other or not. Assuming that Thaumaturge would become White Mage due to the class description of having power over life and death, when the current Conjurer already has access to all the Raise spells was silly.
( '-')Believe those who are seeking the truth. Doubt those who find it.
Less silly when they actually stated they were moving spells around for the DoM. It could have meant the cures just as much as it meant the nukes. I'm personally happy CNJ is WHM but I still think THM story would make for a better WHM, as I said in another thread: Angry White Mages = dead people from lack of cures haha.Glad they put an end to the debate.
