You're an idiot, Sotek.
Cerberus. Pretty much every encounter with the Lambs of Dalamud also includes references to XIVs version of hell. That could free up Fenrir for absolutely anything else.
I chuckled heartily.
FF games love to add just about every beast/hero/god/saint/faerie/spirit from actual mythologies as it can.
LAMB of Dalamund. They believe a HOUND will purify them.
Hounds, or wolves, are extremely problematic and are known to hunt and kill lambs, along with other cattle, in farm lands. I guess that's another connection, but rather far-fetched. :P

Isn't that picture on the same page as the Crystal Tower Bosses? I can't remember exactly but if it is, I think it would be safe to assume Fenrir will appear in Crystal tower a some point.

It is.
Also for those asking where its from, its from the official art book that came with the CE edition of the game.
It would be amazing if he was a primal that was able to be defeated by players then summoned by summoners. I don't know if it can happen in ARR though. XIV ARR summoners are more like wow warlocks not really Final Fantasy summoners.

Sadly I don't think he will appear as an Elder Primal after seeing Siren (who appeared in concept art at the same time as the Fenrir pic) get relegated to Pharos Sirius. If that's any indication as to where XIV is heading, then the people saying Fenrir will be in Amdapor Ruins will probably be correct. Lambs of Dalamud in Tamtara Deepcroft did have a "Dalamud"-esque magic ball going on. Fenrir would fit the role as "Menphina's Hound," which the moon itself is associated with Menphina and Dalamud (pre-descent) was described as Her Hound and the red tint was the Hound bathing in the blood of a Vile Fiend. So short answer, probably Amdapor Ruins and not playing an iconic role like Odin.
