Option to tie your account to multi IP

Can we have an option to tie your account to multiple IP addresses so we don't get flagged as a account being hacked. 6th time I been told to change my password through email...

Maybe option to do Trust IP feature through Mog Station.

Some people don't get flagged when doing this across the globe and I always get flagged just down the street... Please fix this.

I travel to the same hotel once a month in another state. Recently I stopped getting hack flagged so I presume they build a safe history eventually.

You could always use the security token/app to stop this from happening. I believe it actually tells you that when you receive your email.
It's only an extra 5 seconds of your time to login, worth it.

Cant because me and my brother share his account. I have my own account but he chooses not to register his 1 type password and would cause issues trying to take control of his account from my house up the street.

Oh an you should never ever share and account. That is rule #1 to prevent being hacked.

Sorry you can't have more than 1 security token active on 1 account at any time.

SE has a memory of what IP's you use and should only require you to pass security checks once per different IP. If you are getting more than one security check everytime you are trying to log in (at the same address) then it is likely that the network is set to refresh or rotate its IP address. (can also happen if you reset your router from some providors). If your IP is always the same then you might want to contact SE if you keep getting flagged.

FYI I have another account with no authenticator and I have only ever needed to pass security checks once on each static IP address, but everytime on a revolving IP address.

Can't. It sucks. Especially considering you can do it with BNet and their iPhone app. Both my iPhone and iPad generate the same codes for my Bnet account. Its because of how the (MUCH BETTER) recovery system works for their apps.

Use a token! Authenticator and problem fixed. SE is trying to make people use it! If you dont want to buy it then download the application to your phone for free. So there is no excuse why NOT to have one.

Hmm, well you could always split the accounts if you're up for it, though I'm not sure if it works with FFXIV.
I used to share FFXI SE accounts with my brother, but FFXI had yet another account type which was POL. I just contacted chat support and asked them to move his POL account to another SE account under his name.

If that's not possible with FFXIV, or there's a reason why you don't want separate accounts, then I guess you just have to wait for them to implement your idea of IP trust thing.
